It was as cheap as you can get it for the quality.The only thing to comment will be it didn't come with the Velcro band seen on the picture...

It looks decent quality but it only lasted about a month. The tip that plugs into the laptop became loose and not longer works (I had the same problem with the original but it lasted some 4 years). The company I bough it from was Sunvalleytek, try from a different one.

I ordered this power cord a few months ago after a few other ones went out on me. This has been working consistently without problems so far, but with my experience with the same types of cords in the past it's only a matter of time before it wears down and I will need to replace it. The price on this particular product has been just right for the durability. I won't feel bad about having to replace it when the time comes. The problem with these cords is that the connecting point to the computer bends and wears down with use, eventually breaking the enclosed wires and causing the cords not to work. I have been careful not to bend that connecting point, or the point where the cord connects to the converter-type box in the middle of the cord. I have had cords break down at both of those points in the past. As I said, though, this one is still going strong and I expect it to hold up for at least a few more months. No signs of distress as of yet. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because where the cord connects to the computer seems loose and flimsy and I wonder if it will eventually start popping out on me. Overall, though, I would say this is your best bet for price and durability, at least for the short-term. Other cords just like this sell for 80 from HP, and this is just as good.

I bought this power adapter as a replacement to the original which the cord got frayed and no longer worked. This adapter has performed well and haven't had an issue with it. It was cost-effective and is durable. The voltage tested out of the adapter is right where it should be. The plugs fit perfectly into the DC jack on the laptop. I think it was a great purchase.

The charger works, but the cord that goes from the wall to the power brick is already starting to become stripped (showing the inside wires) at the end that plugs into the power brick. It started to reveal the inside wires probably a week after I bought it. I have now had it for roughly 4 weeks.

I do not suspect it will last much longer.

Also, the charger is not the same one that is pictured. [...]
